I hadn't been toSF MOMA since I was a kid, and kept talking about how I wanted to visit again soon. Mario surprised me with tickets and asked me to style his look for our date. I gladly accepted.
We got to the museum around 3:30. Mario knows I like to sleep in and take my time so he thoughtfully purchased the last tickets available. We strolled through the first few floors and stopped for a hot chocolate and latte in the indoor cafe. We made our way through the first five floors and admired many of the massive paintings and abstract sculptures. We didn't know the museum closed at 5 so we were gravely disappointed when they announced it was time to leave. We still had two more floors to visit. I got a cool video of this neon sign, but it didn't save on my Instagram story and I didn't have time to take another (sad face).
I decided to dress him in a fitted maroon button down, 501 Levi's, and his black Sutro Footwear boots. He topped off the look with a felt Goorin Bros. hat. I am wearing a7FAM denim jacket (that I bought five years ago on sale), a Free People halter bralette, and an American apparel wrap top. I completed my look with myUrban Expressions, Finch purse. We finished the evening with a fancy Italian dinner and shared lasagna, pizza, and Pinot. I definitely want to visit MOMA again soon so we can see the remaining artwork we missed! Although it was a short visit, I had a good time and would love to take another stroll there soon.
